Mother's Day

On mother's day, woke up early, ate braised pork belly also known as kong bar bao for brunch.
Mum's cooking indeed awesome. But i don't really add the pork in to the bun. Instead, i prefer to eat the braised mushroom with the bun. Love it.
Slack, play with hershey, get ready for dinner in the kitchen. Brother came to help me out.
The dishes I am going to cook are :
1. Herbal Chicken Ginseng soup
2. Dumpling ( In the soup)
3. Steamed Pumpkin with braised Chicken and mushroom
4. Steamed lam Chiong Egg
5. Omelette ( Prawn, Crab stick)
6. Brocoli with Scallops in Oyster Sauce
7. Ma Po Tofu

I had trouble cooking the herbal chicken ginseng soup. The aroma was heaven.
I boiled the chicken for hours but it tasted way too bitter so my brother spam red dates.
Red dates saved the day though!
As for the pumpkin, time consuming much. Had to steam it for hours too with half-cooked chicken in it.
Overall still fine, my favorite was still pumpkin and BROCCOLI. It taste like heaven :)

Anyway, did this for mother as gift!
